JDS has a proven record for fit-for-purpose design and excellence in project execution and value delivery. We have demonstrated experience with underground development, construction and operations providing underground services in over six different countries (Canada, USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Guyana and Botswana). From development mining in Canada’s far north, to founding and developing the first mine in Guyana, we bring tier-one safety, quality and production to every job.

We complete all shapes and sizes of development mining and vertical alimak excavation, in addition to production mining, engineering, technical services, training and underground construction. Our services transcend multiple languages, regulations and jurisdictions to ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with the owner’s requirements. We have experience from narrow vein to bulk mining methods, such as block caving, in both conventional and mechanized capacities. Utilizing our fleets of contract owned equipment, owners equipment or combined fleet, we have the capacity to get the job done.
